SENIOR MEAL PROGRAM

The Senior Meal Program at The Fort Lawn Community Center is offered weekly Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. excluding holidays to all persons 60 years of age or older from Fort Lawn and surrounding communities.  The program offers a hot meal each day for a cost of $2.50, as well as featuring guest speakers, games, and other activities for participants.  The program is funded by the Springs Close Foundation and community donations.  Pre-registration is required.  Contact the Center at 803-872-4491 to join in the fun today!

How You Can Help

  • Donations of fresh fruit and vegetables
  • Donations of bingo prizes such as: canned food, paper products, hygiene products, home accessories, etc
  • Volunteer your time to work directly with the seniors leading an exercise class, teaching a craft skill, serving meals, or providing companionship to our participants.
  • Donations of funding to help us continue the program

 A FREE COMPUTER CLASS FOR SENIOR CITIZENS is offered on Wednesdays from 10am-11am and 1 pm-2pm in FLCC’s Lutz Foundation Computer Lab.  The class covers basic computer and internet skills.  For more information call the center at (803) 872-4491.
